Today our whole family ate the same meal I cooked for Evan, except that his veggies had to be cooked, and we ate ours raw. It is rare that I only have to cook one kind of meal, and I was filled with thankfulness and so relieved while I was preparing the meal, and afterwards. It was grass-fed/and -finished ground beef with steamed potatoes, and carrot inside cucumber. To have a little more flavor on the meat, I used sage, cumin, turmeric, rosemary, Himalayan salt, pepper, garlic and onion. For a little sauce, I added almond milk with corn starch. The fact that both boys liked it and asked for seconds is a double win : ) |
